REHABILITATION THROUGH WRITING - IN AN OASIS OF CALM AND CREATIVITY

The majority of U.K. young offenders would likely to re-commit crimes and re-offend within a year. As a part of finding innovative & creative solution, U.K. Her Majesty Young Offenders Institution planned to open an £85 million secure college in Leicestershire.

Within this space, I have chosen to propose a specific education space called "Write to Transform". This is a special are reserved for the art of writing and using diary journalling as an effective way to manage emotion and anger. This aims at supporting young prisoner for self-improvement and rehabilitation.
